Valterri Bottas and George Russell to ‘fight’ at Belgian GP press conference

Valterri Bottas and George Russell to ‘fight’ at Belgian GP press conference

Valterri Bottas and George Russell have been paired together for the Belgian Grand Prix pre-race press conference on Thursday at 12:30 pm local time. This pairing is juicy for fans as many have been waiting for the announcement of who secures the 2nd Mercedes seat alongside Sir Lewis Hamilton.

Bottas has raced alongside Lewis Hamilton for 5 years since the retirement of Nico Rosberg. Throughout those 5 years, the 31-year-old has kept a consistent and descent record which according to Toto Wolff, is “impressive” especially to be racing alongside a 7-time-world champion.

However, when Hamilton contracted covid in 2020 and was replaced by George Russell, fans were surprised with his impressive performance. This caused the battle between the two for who is going to get that 2022 Mercedes seat.

During the press conference this Thursday at Spa, we hope to get more answers from them.

Max Verstappen will also go against Charles Leclerc at the press conference. This is the first time the Ferrari driver has gone against the Red Bull rival.

The rest of the pairings follow as below:

We hope this will sizzle up the beginning of another intense race week.
